Refund Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy describes how refund requests, cancellation requests and payment disputes are handled on SchoolWork.co.in ("Platform"), available at https://schoolwork.co.in.

SchoolWork provides software services and facilitates online fee payments on behalf of educational institutions. By using the Platform, you agree to this Refund and Cancellation Policy.

1. Nature of Services

SchoolWork is a software platform used by schools, educational institutions, students, parents and staff for academic and administrative management. Payments made through the Platform are generally towards school-related fees and charges determined by the respective educational institution.

2. Cancellation Policy

Once a payment has been successfully processed and a receipt has been generated, the transaction cannot normally be cancelled through the Platform.

Any request for cancellation of school fees, admission fees, registration fees, examination fees or other institutional charges shall be governed by the refund and cancellation rules of the respective educational institution.

3. Non-Refundable Payments

Unless otherwise approved by the concerned educational institution, the following payments are generally non-refundable:

4. Duplicate or Excess Payments

If a user makes a duplicate payment for the same fee transaction or pays an amount in excess due to a technical error, the user may request a refund.

The refund request must be submitted within 5 days of the transaction along with proof of payment and transaction details.

Upon successful verification by SchoolWork and/or the concerned educational institution, the excess amount may be refunded to the original payment source.

5. Failed Transactions

If money is deducted from the user's account but the payment status remains unsuccessful and no valid fee receipt is generated, the transaction shall be treated as a failed transaction.

In such cases, the amount is usually reversed automatically by the respective bank or payment gateway as per their policies.

Users may contact our support team if the amount is not credited back within the standard banking timeline.

6. Refund Processing Time

Approved refund, refund will be credited to the original payment method within 5-7 working days.

Actual credit timelines may vary depending on the user's bank, card issuer, UPI provider, wallet provider or payment gateway.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Any chargeback or payment dispute raised through a bank, card issuer, UPI application or payment gateway shall be investigated using payment records, transaction logs and school records.

SchoolWork.co.in reserves the right to provide transaction details and supporting evidence to payment processors and financial institutions for dispute resolution.

8. Limitation of Liability

SchoolWork.co.in shall not be responsible for delays in refund processing caused by banks, payment gateways, payment service providers, network failures, technical issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Policy Changes

SchoolWork.co.in reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice.

Updated versions shall become effective immediately upon publication on the Platform.
